For years Cold Steel has thought about making a folding knife that closely emulates their famous Tanto. Andrew Demko worked on the problem, and with Lynn Thompson's input, a satisfactory solution was discovered. The result is what we have here, the Oyabun! It incorporates a reinforced blade point, a high satin polish, expert heat treatment (57HRC and sub-zero quenched), and the kind of stunningly sharp edge Cold Steel's reputation was founded upon. Furthermore, it is equipped with an integral flipper for effortless opening, and a (patent pending) leaf spring lock and safety.
